actually there isn't much to it. I start by hand drawing a pic, then import it into Illustrator where I use primarily the pen tool to vector, starting with large shapes and then just filling in with shading and highlighting. That's a simple version of it.

Don't worry about linking it I can just go to your page to see it (but I'll let you know for further reference just in case anyone asks you for a link or you want to send one) all you have to do is cut and paste the link into the comment, Deviantart will make it a clickable link when you send your comment :)
