Artist's Comments
This piece started out as something completely different. It was supposed to be a background for a character I had finished, but in the end I liked it much more as a stand alone piece. I also wanted to incorporate some of my favorite images in the piece, so there are some familiar icons in there, such as the birds, circles, hibiscus, and trees, as well as others I don't use so much. I'll be posting the finished character and new background at a later time. Oh and also, I know I do vintage and retro stuff alot, but I just love the look of it. I promise something different soon. This is also part of my 100 Theme challange - 21 - Vacation
